Razorpay Enhances AI Leadership Team

Fintech unicorn Razorpay has strengthened its artificial intelligence capabilities by appointing four senior engineering leaders from prominent companies such as Divyam.ai, Microsoft, Salesforce, and CRED. This strategy is part of Razorpay’s vision to bolster its AI initiatives.

New Appointments to Boost AI and Data Architecture

The company has brought on board Sudhir Reddy, the former CTO and co-founder of Divyam.ai, who will now lead AI and data architecture at Razorpay. Additionally, Abhishek Agarwal, previously a Principal Group Engineering Manager at Microsoft, has been appointed, alongside Bhavya Shivaprakash, who held the position of Senior Director at Salesforce. Anuj Mathur, also a former Senior Director at CRED, has joined the team.

Strengthening Engineering Leadership for AI Development

These new appointments are designed to reinforce the engineering leadership at Razorpay across various domains, including AI, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, and data engineering. The aim is to develop AI-powered financial products and services that cater to the evolving needs of customers.

Focus on AI-Driven Financial Products

Razorpay has indicated that the executives will be focusing on AI initiatives that span across payments, banking, risk management, data, and developer platforms. This recruitment follows the recent joining of Praburam Rambadran as Senior Vice President of Engineering in September 2025.

Innovative AI Products and Tools

As part of its AI strategy, Razorpay has introduced several new products, including Agentic Payments, Agent Studio, Agentic Dashboard, Onboarding, and Connected Banking Agents. Furthermore, the company has rolled out an array of internal AI developer tools to enhance its offerings.
