ixigo backed artificial intelligence (AI) startup SqaaS has introduced an innovative platform known as ShellBot. This new offering enables users to construct their personal AI assistants that function 24/7. This launch is part of ixigo’s broader strategy to enhance its AI investments, having acquired a 45.02% share in the Spain-based SqaaS in February 2026.

SqaaS, an early-stage AI technology company located in Spain, was established in 2023. In February 2026, the Indian travel technology leader ixigo, operating as Le Travenues Technology Ltd, obtained a 45.02 percent stake in the firm for 0.45 million euros. SqaaS is engaged in creating AI-powered software aimed at enhancing travel automation and research, thus complementing ixigo’s expansion strategy within Europe.
