Capillary Technologies Joins Forces with Kognitiv: A New Era of Innovation

Capillary Technologies Expands into North America with Kognitiv Acquisition

Capillary Technologies, a leader in AI-powered loyalty management, has successfully acquired Kognitiv, a company that specializes in omnichannel loyalty solutions. This strategic move is part of Capillary’s efforts to extend its footprint in North America.

This acquisition represents Capillary’s fourth investment in the loyalty sector since 2021, reinforcing its global reach in the US, ANZ, SEA, and UAE markets. Previous purchases by Capillary include Persuade, Brierley+Partners, and Tenerity’s Digital Connect Assets, now known as Rewards+.

By integrating Kognitiv’s advanced solutions, Capillary aims to enhance its capabilities in data-driven personalization and consumer engagement. Kognitiv serves a notable clientele, which includes major brands such as Petsmart, Hallmark, Yuu Rewards, Kirkland’s, Curaleaf, Sharjah Co-op, and Leading Hotels of the World.

Following the merger with Aimia’s Loyalty Solutions business in 2020, Kognitiv has been active in 20 countries, concentrating on data-driven loyalty management for global enterprises. After the acquisition, Capillary plans to leverage AI-driven loyalty approaches to foster measurable business outcomes for its network of over 100 global clients, which features more than 15 Fortune 500 brands.

Aneesh Reddy, the Co-founder and CEO of Capillary Technologies, emphasized that Kognitiv’s expertise in omnichannel loyalty solutions is in perfect harmony with the company’s global expansion strategy. This merger is designed to facilitate the delivery of powerful loyalty solutions that enhance consumer engagement and contribute to business growth.

In February of last year, Capillary raised $140 million in its Series D funding round, with $20 million specifically allocated for Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) payouts.
