CARS24 Expands with Acquisition of Vehicle Info

Used car platform CARS24 is strengthening its position by acquiring Vehicle Info, an innovative automotive utility application, in its pursuit to create a comprehensive vehicle ownership platform. Based in Gurugram, the company has also acquired vehicle information and management platform CarInfo recently. This acquisition marks CARS24’s third strategic move within a year, following the purchase of the automotive community platform Team-BHP.

About Vehicle Info

Founded in 2017 by Chirag Pipaliya, Vehicle Info offers both B2C and B2B services, providing essential tools such as RTO vehicle information, challan payments, insurance services, a service history archive, resale value evaluations, and resources for license exam preparation. With this acquisition, CARS24 intends to incorporate the capabilities of Vehicle Info, broadening its offerings beyond mere vehicle transactions to encompass the entire lifecycle of vehicle ownership.

Operational Independence of Vehicle Info

Following the acquisition, Vehicle Info will maintain its status as an independent application, supported by its current team, while collaborating closely with CARS24. This collaboration is aimed at enhancing the overall user experience and service delivery in the automotive space.

The Services of CARS24

Founded in 2015 by Vikram Chopra, CARS24 provides a range of services that include buying and selling vehicles, loans, insurance, and maintenance services. Furthermore, the company supplies vehicle financing through CARS24 Financial Services, catering to various customer needs.
