Snitch Expands into Women’s Fashion by Acquiring Berrylush

Snitch, a direct-to-consumer fashion brand, has made a strategic move into the women’s fashion market by acquiring the women’s apparel label Berrylush. This step signifies the brand’s transition beyond menswear, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey. The details regarding the financial aspects of the acquisition have not been disclosed.

Berrylush will maintain its current branding while taking advantage of Snitch’s strengths in various areas, such as product development, technology integration, supply chain optimization, marketing strategies, and omnichannel retailing, as stated in a recent press release.

Strategic Vision for Women’s Fashion

The founder and CEO of Snitch, Siddharth Dungarwal, expressed that entering the women’s fashion domain has always been a key aspect of their long-term strategy. Instead of starting afresh, Snitch recognised an opportunity to enhance Berrylush’s already solid foundation.

Collaboration for Innovation

As part of this acquisition, Snitch plans to collaborate closely with Berrylush co-founder Anusha Chandrashekar and the existing team. The goal is to expedite product innovation, increase their omnichannel market presence, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Recent Funding and Financial Growth

This acquisition follows closely after Snitch secured $40 million in its Series B funding round, led by 360 ONE Asset, with contributions from existing investors including IvyCap Ventures and SWC Global. To date, the company has raised over $53 million.

According to Snitch’s latest annual financial records, the revenue from operations has seen significant growth, climbing 81% to reach Rs 900 crore in FY26, up from Rs 498 crore in FY25, while continuing to expand its omnichannel business model. The purchase of Berrylush represents Snitch’s first substantial diversification beyond menswear and is aimed at creating a more extensive range of fashion brands.
