AceVector, the parent entity of Snapdeal, Unicommerce, and Stellaro Brands, witnessed robust interest in its IPO, which was subscribed 4.92 times as investors sought 36.55 crore shares against the 7.42 crore shares available. The initial public offering (IPO) for AceVector was open for subscription from September 25 to September 29, with a price range set between Rs 30 and Rs 32, requiring a minimum investment of Rs 14,040 for a lot size of 468 shares.
Data from the exchange indicated that the non-institutional investors (NIIs) segment experienced the highest demand, achieving an 8.15X subscription rate. This was followed by the retail category, which saw a 4.58X subscription, while the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) portion was subscribed 3.38X.
The IPO consists of a fresh issuance of Rs 287 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) featuring 4.16 crore shares valued at around Rs 133 crore based on the upper price limit. Notable investors like SoftBank, Nexus Venture Partners, and other current stakeholders are set to partially divest their stakes through this OFS. Conversely, co-founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal will retain all their shares in the IPO.
The new funds generated from the IPO will primarily support marketing and promotional activities for Snapdeal, along with technology infrastructure development, acquisitions, and other general corporate necessities.
Prior to the IPO launch, AceVector managed to secure Rs 189 crore from 14 anchor investors by allocating 5.91 crore shares at Rs 32 each.
