ACKO Strengthens Leadership Team for Enhanced Growth

D2C insurer ACKO has unveiled an expansion of its leadership team as the company progresses into a new phase of development, dedicated to combining product, business, and customer experience under unified management. With a focus on auto, health, and its developing service framework, the company aims to achieve speed, clarity, and large-scale execution.

New Leadership Appointments

Apoorv Kalra, previously the Chief Product Officer at Junglee Games, will spearhead the Auto division at ACKO. Kunal Kapur, who recently worked with Meta, is now set to lead the Health segment. Vivek Sharma, an entrepreneur and the founder of Fixcraft, will oversee the ACKO Drive ecosystem, which includes car purchasing and servicing. Neha Gupta, formerly with Zepto, will take charge of Assisted Experience, working across the organisation to develop a technology-driven customer experience framework designed to minimise friction and enhance high-quality assisted interactions throughout both pre-sales and post-sales journeys.

Shifting Towards Integrated Leadership

These appointments signify a significant shift in how ACKO is constructing its business, moving from fragmented functional management to cohesive leadership across product development, pricing, operations, and customer experience. In a market traditionally dominated by intermediary-led distribution, ACKO’s approach is grounded in direct relationships with customers and integrated ownership. The company is committed to creating a structure where product innovation, business strategy, and customer experience are intertwined, facilitating quicker decisions and more reliable results.

With this newly-established leadership team, ACKO is geared towards cultivating a more integrated, execution-focused organisation as it continues to expand its operations.
