Alive: Experience-Tech Startup Secures Funding for Expansion

Experience-tech startup Alive has successfully raised Rs 6 crore from Powerhouse Ventures along with contributions from a consortium of angel investors and operators. This funding will be allocated to enhance operations in various Indian cities, improve technology, and amplify its network of experience creators.

Established in 2025 by Vivek Kumar, who has a background as an investor and a serial entrepreneur, Alive boasts a remarkable growth of 90 times within just a year. The platform currently offers over 125 carefully curated experiences that encompass adventure, food, art, wellness, and culture.

Experience Platform Development

Alive is in the process of developing a comprehensive experience platform. This initiative utilises proprietary technology to construct, manage, and scale immersive activities. The startup designs a wide range of unique experiences, from vineyard brunches to pottery workshops and chef-led dinners, as well as sky adventures. Additionally, Alive runs a technological engine that facilitates creator onboarding, content management, and automated discovery.

Empowering Creators

The platform empowers chefs, artists, and small businesses to evolve into experience creators. Some have reported earnings of up to Rs 5 lakh each month as a result of this initiative. Alive’s primary user demographic consists of young professionals aged between 21 and 38, who are increasingly seeking authentic and engaging activities. This mirrors the rising demand for things to do in Indian cities.

Future Ambitions

Alive has set ambitious goals, aiming for a remarkable Rs 100 crore in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by March 2027. Currently, Alive operates in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, with plans to launch in Goa next.
