Amazon Diagnostics Launches At-Home Lab Testing in India

Amazon Diagnostics is an innovative service recently introduced in India, enabling users to book lab tests from the comfort of their homes. This service allows for easy scheduling and appointment tracking, including access to digital reports via the Amazon app.

In collaboration with Orange Health Labs, this service covers a wide geographical area, including major cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, reaching over 450 PIN codes, as stated in a recent press release by Amazon India.

Integration with Amazon Medical

With the launch of this service, Amazon has effectively integrated its pharmacy and clinic offerings under the platform known as Amazon Medical. According to Amazon, this expansion reinforces the structure of Amazon Medical by enhancing the current Pharmacy and Clinic services.

Amazon Pharmacy and Clinic Services

Amazon Pharmacy provides users with access to an extensive selection of prescription medications and essential health products. Additionally, customers benefit from complimentary telemedicine consultations and delivery options available for both Prime and non-Prime customers.

Consultations via Amazon Clinic

Furthermore, Amazon Clinic facilitates consultations between users and licensed healthcare professionals for various primary health needs through a streamlined digital platform.

As part of its offerings, Amazon Diagnostics aims to provide more than 800 diagnostic tests, with sample collection available at users’ doorsteps within a quick timeframe of 60 minutes.
