Foundry: New Consumer Technology Company by Ankit Jain

Ankit Jain, the previous managing director of Dyson India, has introduced Foundry, a cutting-edge consumer technology firm concentrating on high-end home appliances. This company is focused on designing appliances that utilise proprietary, patent-pending innovation, initially targeting products specifically for the kitchen.

Foundry has successfully obtained Rs 12 crore in a pre-seed funding round that was co-led by BEENEXT and Kettleborough VC. This funding round also attracted participation from notable individuals such as Rishubh Satiya of Plix, Anindita Sampath of Yoga Bar, and Anita Pramoda of Owned Outcomes.

The raised capital is intended to facilitate further technology advancement and the engineering of products as Foundry approaches the launch of its inaugural kitchen appliance range in the latter half of 2027, as mentioned in a press statement.

Foundry is dedicated to creating appliances that merge exclusive technology with industrial design aesthetics and materials that are ideal for contemporary homes. Furthermore, the company intends to diversify into additional categories beyond kitchen appliances.
