Rovia Secures $1 Million in Pre-Seed Funding for Wealth Platform Development

Wealth platform Rovia has successfully raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Antler India, with involvement from CDM Capital, AC Ventures, Operators Studio, along with various angel investors from the US and India. This new investment will facilitate the expansion of Rovia’s engineering and product teams, enhance integrations within brokerage and financial infrastructures, and bolster their regulatory and compliance operations, as highlighted in a press release from the company.

Co-founded in 2025 by Shivang Badaya and Arnav Grover, Rovia serves as a global wealth platform specifically designed for employees with equity compensation, beginning with RSUs and stock plans. The platform empowers international tech professionals to transfer, manage, diversify, and reinvest their equity compensation seamlessly, minimising friction and associated costs across borders.

Based in Bengaluru, this startup is focused on addressing several challenges such as cross-border issues, high costs of foreign exchange and remittances, tax complexities related to various jurisdictions, limited access to US brokerage facilities, delayed settlements, and the risk of being overly dependent on a single employer. Through Rovia’s platform, users can transfer, diversify, and reinvest their equity compensation effortlessly via a unified interface with greatly reduced friction.

Since the introduction of its beta version, Rovia reports an impressive 100% monthly growth in assets under management. Currently, the company is tracking over $60 million in RSUs and equity compensation assets within its user base, which includes employees from over 300 companies.

Rovia has also achieved registration as an SEC-registered investment adviser in the United States. The company aspires to create the most reliable global wealth operating system tailored for professionals whose financial lives are significantly influenced by equity compensation.
