Arctus Aerospace: Pioneering Unmanned Aircraft Technology

Arctus Aerospace has successfully secured $2.6 million in a pre-seed funding round, backed by Version One Ventures, South Park Commons, gradCapital, and a consortium of angel investors including Balaji Srinivasan, Srinivas Narayan, early engineers from Ather, and leaders affiliated with Bounce Infinity and Boom Supersonic. Additionally, Arctus participated in the South Park Commons Founder Fellowship earlier this year.

Advanced Unmanned Aircraft Development

Arctus Aerospace is focused on creating large unmanned aircraft designed to operate at altitudes of 45,000 feet for durations of up to 24 hours while carrying a payload of 250 kilograms. These aircraft aim to provide real-time geospatial intelligence.

Full-Stack Manufacturing and Engineering

The company is working on a comprehensive manufacturing and engineering framework to sustain this innovative platform. This platform is equipped to handle SAR, hyperspectral, optical, EO, and IR sensing.

Cost-Effective Imaging Solutions

Imaging services that usually cost around $10,000 for 500 square kilometres can now be offered for approximately $500, facilitating applications across the energy, infrastructure, climate, and security sectors.

Operational Capabilities

Currently, Arctus Aerospace operates aircraft at elevations exceeding 10,000 feet, delivering centimetre-level geospatial accuracy. The company designs and tests its aircraft within its 25,000-square-foot facility located in Bengaluru.
