Atlys Secures $36 Million in Series C Funding for Visa Processing Expansion
Atlys has successfully secured $36 million in its Series C funding round, a significant boost for the visa processing startup. This funding round was spearheaded by Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital, with notable participation from existing investors such as Elevation Capital, Long Journey Ventures, and Peak XV Partners. The travel platform MakeMyTrip has also joined as a new investor.
Utilising Funds for Growth and AI Advancements
The fresh capital will be directed towards expanding operations into new international markets and enhancing Atlys’ AI initiatives. The company aims to integrate AI into various facets of the visa process, including document verification, eligibility assessments, and providing support to travellers.
About Atlys and Its Operations
Founded in 2021 by Mohak Nahta, Atlys facilitates the discovery, application, and management of visas digitally for over 120 destinations. Following its previous funding round, Atlys has processed nearly 450,000 visas and broadened its reach in key global markets including the UAE, the US, the UK, and Australia. These international regions now account for approximately half of Atlys’ total business.
Current Operations and Growth Metrics
The company reports an annual visa application run rate exceeding 700,000. Since its Series B funding round in 2024, Atlys has experienced a remarkable 11X growth. This recent round of funding comes after Atlys’ $20 million Series B in September 2024, co-led by Peak XV Partners and Elevation Capital, which saw participation from DST Global and Headline. Prior to that, Atlys raised $12 million in its Series A round in September 2023, following a seed funding round of $4.25 million in October 2021.
Recent Acquisition
In February 2025, Atlys also acquired the UK division of visa services firm Artionis in a cash transaction aimed at enhancing its presence in Europe and fortifying its visa processing capabilities. With this latest expansion and injection of funding, Atlys is poised to develop a comprehensive global digital visa platform for international travellers.
