Kapture CX: An Innovative Agentic AI Platform
Kapture CX, a verticalized full-stack agentic AI platform, has secured $10 million in a pre-Series B funding round, spearheaded by Bajaj Finserv Ventures (BFSV), which is part of Bajaj Finserv. Existing investors Cactus Venture Partners and India Alternatives also took part in this round. Before this, the Bengaluru-based firm obtained $4 million from India Alternatives during an extended Series A round in December 2023, along with another $4 million in a Series A round led by Cactus Venture Partners in July 2023. Kapture CX indicated that the new funds will be allocated to expansion into various global markets as well as ongoing investment in research and development and product enhancements.
Background of Kapture CX
Co-founded in 2014 by Sheshgiri Kamath and Vikas Garg, Kapture CX operates as a verticalized, full-stack agentic AI platform designed to manage high-stakes workflows for large enterprises. By leveraging its advanced tech capabilities, it combines AI agents, operational intelligence, and human supervision into a single system, facilitating large-scale complex operational management for enterprises.
Challenges in AI Adoption
Kapture CX points out that enterprises often confront a disjointed market filled with individual products from various providers, making the implementation of AI a labor-intensive process. The company asserts that organizations require a comprehensive agentic AI platform that accommodates industry-specific needs and provides tailored solutions for intricate workflows. This is precisely the market gap Kapture CX is equipped to bridge.
Technology and Solutions
By owning and refining the entire technology stack, from AI models to the agentic layer and user interface, Kapture CX claims it enables companies to deploy AI solutions at scale without the complications of integrating disparate products from multiple vendors. The platform is deeply verticalized and supported by cutting-edge technology that allows it to customize models for each specific industry.
Enterprise Trust and Market Position
Kapture CX boasts that its platform is trusted by over 1,000 enterprises across 18 countries, inclusive of clients like Bajaj Finance, Tata Group companies, and Reliance Group. Additionally, several consulting firms and hyperscalers partner with Kapture CX, further solidifying its market presence.
Competitive Landscape
The company competes with significant players in the AI sector, such as Salesforce, Decagon, and Sierra AI. In the current year, Bajaj Finserv Ventures has also led an $8.6 million funding round in NowPurchase, an AI-driven B2B platform catering to metal manufacturers, and a $25 million round for Assiduus Global, which focuses on AI-enhanced cross-border, multi-platform e-commerce acceleration.
