Bandhan Mutual Fund Reduces Stake in Yatra Online Limited
Bandhan Mutual Fund has taken steps to cut its investment in Yatra Online Limited via an open market transaction that took place earlier this week. The fund has divested 9.93 lakh equity shares from the travel services firm on October 6, leading to a decrease in its shareholding from 3.61% to 2.98%. Prior to this sale, Bandhan Mutual Fund owned 56.64 lakh shares, which has now been reduced to 46.71 lakh shares.
According to the share price on the stock exchange, the value of this partial stock sale is estimated at approximately Rs 15.88 crore. This amount constitutes 0.63% of Yatra’s total paid-up capital, which consists of 15.69 crore equity shares.
Yatra Online Limited’s Financial Performance
Yatra’s revenue from its operations has demonstrated remarkable growth, rising to Rs 210 crore in Q1 FY26, up from Rs 101 crore in Q1 FY25. This substantial year-on-year increase has enabled Yatra to achieve a fourfold surge in profits, which now stands at Rs 16 crore for the same period.
Current Market Position
As of the close of today’s trading session, Yatra is priced at Rs 159.5 per share, while its overall market capitalization is recorded at Rs 2,522 crore.
