Be Clinical: Innovative Skincare Solutions for Ageing Concerns
Be Clinical, a pioneering skincare brand, has successfully secured Rs 6 crore in a seed funding round led by V3 Ventures. The funding saw participation from Titan Capital, established by Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, who have shown renewed support for the brand. Originally, Be Clinical gathered Rs 2 crore in the same funding round with contributions from P-TAL founder Aditya Agarwal.
The funds will be directed towards research and development, reinforcing the brand’s in-house formulation capabilities, carrying out clinical tests, and creating targeted solutions for ageing issues affecting the face, body, and scalp, according to a statement from Be Clinical.
About Be Clinical: A Commitment to Evidence-Based Skincare
Founded by Hemangi Dhir in May last year, Be Clinical prides itself on being an evidence-led skincare brand, providing clinically tested solutions tailored for ageing skin, specifically formulated to suit Indian skin types and environmental conditions. Supported by comprehensive in-house research and the use of dermatologically active ingredients, the brand effectively addresses ageing concerns with an emphasis on transparency, consumer education, and demonstrable results.
Bridging Gaps in the Indian Skincare Market
Be Clinical aims to fill a significant gap in the Indian skincare landscape, particularly the need for science-driven, transparent, and clinically validated solutions designed for local skin and environmental conditions. The brand sets itself apart with in-vivo tested, clinically verified formulations, complemented by complete in-house research and manufacturing, along with a commitment to responsible formulation practices.
Customer Trust and Future Expansion Plans
Since its launch, Be Clinical has reported impressive early traction, having catered to over 25,000 customers. This indicates rapid acceptance and increasing consumer confidence in its clinically focused, India-centric skincare products. The company has plans to broaden its manufacturing capabilities by investing in advanced machinery, aimed at enhancing production efficiency, consistency, and quality assurance.
Furthermore, Be Clinical intends to upgrade its packaging to more functional, protective, and premium designs that maintain ingredient integrity while reinforcing its position as a provider of clinical-grade skincare solutions. The brand faces competition from prominent names such as Olay, Neutrogena, Clinique, and Dr. Sheth in the anti-ageing segment.
