About Betterhood and Its Offerings
Founded in October 2024 by Vikram Kadam and Neha Zade, Betterhood is dedicated to promoting musculoskeletal health through scientifically-backed products, insightful educational content, digital solutions, and expert-led interventions. Its product range includes posture supports, orthotic solutions, and pain relief items, all aimed at helping consumers address pain at early stages and cultivate lasting musculoskeletal wellness.
Assessment Tools for Pain Relief
The Bengaluru-based startup has introduced assessment tools on its website designed to assist users in pinpointing the underlying causes of neck, back, shoulder, and knee discomfort. These tools provide a clinically sound foundation for the journey towards effective care.
Innovative Tools for Posture Awareness
Recently, Betterhood unveiled Slouch Catcher, a posture analysis tool that enables users to upload a snapshot of their posture. This tool offers a personalised score along with an animal-themed posture persona, making the concept of posture awareness both engaging and easier to understand.
Programs for Physiotherapists
Betterhood is launching The Physio Edge, a certification programme tailored for early-career physiotherapists. This programme aims to bridge the gap between academic education and practical clinical experience.
Growth and Customer Engagement
Since its inception, Betterhood has reported serving over 60,000 customers and producing more than 1,000 educational resources across various platforms focused on posture, pain prevention, mobility, and recovery. The startup intends to broaden its reach through partnerships with physiotherapy clinics, running communities, and wellness retail as it continues to expand in the preventive pain care arena.
