Bombay Shaving Company has reported an impressive 2.4X year-on-year increase in its operating revenue for the fiscal year concluding in March 2026. This growth is accompanied by the company’s inaugural positive adjusted EBITDA of Rs 2 crore, attributed to robust sales throughout the fiscal period.

Stellar Revenue Performance

The revenue from operations for Bombay Shaving Company soared by 139%, reaching Rs 635 crore in FY26, a notable rise from Rs 266 crore in FY25. This information is derived from its consolidated financial report filed with the Registrar of Companies (RoC).

Business Segments

Visage Lines, the parent company, operates three distinct brands: Bombay Shaving Company, its prominent men’s grooming line; Bombae, which centres on women’s personal care; and 100Days, a provider of digital commerce and e-commerce growth solutions for consumer brands.

Revenue Breakdown

The sales of personal care products for both men and women through Bombay Shaving Company and Bombae represented over 91% of the total operating revenue, amounting to Rs 581 crore in FY26 compared to Rs 241 crore in FY25. Meanwhile, revenue generated from 100Days doubled, reaching Rs 48 crore in FY26. Additionally, the company generated Rs 6 crore from interest income, resulting in a total revenue of Rs 641 crore for FY26.

Expenditure and Operating Costs

Aligned with its sales escalation, the largest operational cost was the materials consumed, which escalated by 2.8X to Rs 370 crore in FY26. To enhance sales and improve brand visibility, the firm allocated 24% of its total expenses towards advertising and promotional initiatives, which saw a 55% increase to Rs 158 crore during the previous fiscal year.

Employee Costs and Other Expenses

Employee benefits saw a modest rise of 9% to Rs 47 crore, which included Rs 7 crore in non-cash ESOP expenses. Other operational costs, such as delivery, handling charges, rent, IT, and legal and professional fees, resulted in an overall expense total of Rs 650 crore in FY26, up from Rs 329 crore in FY25.

Financial Health Indicators

The Gurugram-based company successfully reduced its net loss by 85%, bringing it down to Rs 9 crore in FY26 from Rs 58 crore in FY25. Importantly, the company achieved an adjusted EBITDA (excluding ESOP costs) of Rs 2 crore for FY26. The ROCE and EBITDA margin were recorded at -5.2% and -0.79% respectively. On an individual unit basis, Bombay Shaving Company spent Rs 1.02 to generate a rupee in FY26.

Current Assets Overview

As of the end of March 2026, the firm reported current assets totalling Rs 313 crore, which comprised Rs 96 crore in cash and bank balances.

Funding and Future Prospects

In November 2025, Bombay Shaving Company secured Rs 136 crore (approximately $15.3 million) through a combination of primary and secondary transactions. This funding round was led by Sixth Sense Ventures, featuring contributions from founder and CEO Shantanu Deshpande, Patni Family Office, GII, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), and former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid. This financial boost is significant as the company prepares for a potential initial public offering (IPO).
