Bounce Electric Unveils New Electric Scooter at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025
Bounce Electric has introduced its newest electric scooter, which incorporates LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries, in partnership with Clean Electric during the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. This innovative scooter is designed to enhance urban mobility by offering quick charging, extended battery life, and overall convenience.
Key Features of the New Bounce Electric Scooter
- Rapid Charging: The scooter can achieve a full charge in a mere 15 minutes, significantly reducing downtime for users.
- Connector Compatibility: It is equipped with a Type 6 connector, ensuring compatibility with public fast-charging stations.
- Battery Variants: Available in 2 kWh and 4 kWh options, allowing for ranges of up to 80 km and 160 km respectively.
- Longevity of Batteries: The LFP batteries are reported to last twice as long as conventional NMC batteries and facilitate portable charging through standard outlets.
Current owners of Bounce scooters are eligible to upgrade to this advanced technology. A live demonstration at the Bharat Expo will illustrate the scooter’s rapid charging capabilities, showing how it can travel 60 km in just 15 minutes.
Growth Plans and Achievements
Bounce Electric is on track to achieve an annualized revenue of Rs 150 crore in FY25, representing an increase of more than four times compared to the revenue figures reported for FY23.
The company asserts that it is the sole OEM in the electric vehicle industry that provides an uptime guarantee, alongside various options for selecting battery sizes and types, including access to battery-swapping services from multiple providers.
