Circle: Bengaluru’s Leading Marketplace for Pre-Owned Goods

Bengaluru-based pre-owned goods marketplace Circle has successfully raised Rs 25 crore in a seed funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners. Additional participation came from existing investor Titan Capital, Myntra co-founder Raveen Sastry, and Delhivery COO Ajith Pai as an angel investor. The new funding will be utilised to broaden its reach beyond Bengaluru and enhance the company’s AI-driven pricing, product discovery, and verification functionalities.

Growth Plans for Circle

Circle also aims to develop its Trust Hubs and logistics network as it scales its operations throughout India. Founded in 2025 by Chirag Kataruka and Ankit Misra, Circle runs a managed customer-to-customer (C2C) marketplace designed for the buying and selling of pre-owned goods. The platform integrates AI technology with product verification and logistics to streamline transactions without the need for inventory ownership.

Achievements Within the First Year

In just one year since its launch, Circle claims to have enabled approximately Rs 25 crore in pre-owned sales. The platform has attracted more than 10 lakh visitors and generated 1 lakh listings in Bengaluru. As per the company, sellers generally find buyers within a span of three days, with nearly 40% of buyers returning within 90 days, and half of sellers listing products again.

Wide Range of Product Categories

Circle offers a diverse array of products including smartphones, gaming consoles, cameras, furniture, watches, handbags, and sneakers. Their services encompass product verification, pickup, payments, and a three-day Circle Guarantee for buyers.
