ClayCo Skincare Brand Secures Rs 34.59 Crore in Funding

ClayCo, a skincare brand, has successfully raised Rs 34.59 crore (approximately $3.7 million) during a Series A funding round led by Twenty-Nine Capital Partners Ventures, with additional contributions from ICMG Global Ventures. This Mumbai-based startup had previously obtained $2 million from Unilever Ventures in October 2024, marking its initial external investment.

According to a press release, the new funding will be directed towards accelerating product development, diversifying into new categories, and enhancing working capital.

About ClayCo

Established in 2023 by Niharika Jhunjhunwala, ClayCo is dedicated to skincare solutions that blend natural ingredients with contemporary formulations. Its first collection, “Rituals of Japan,” features cleansers, moisturisers, serums, and essences inspired by traditional elements like rice, sake, and azuki beans.

Financial Performance

The brand has demonstrated significant revenue growth, increasing from Rs 5 crore in FY24 to Rs 33 crore in FY25 and reaching Rs 72 crore in FY26.

Sales Channels and Future Plans

ClayCo operates through its direct-to-consumer (D2C) platform as well as via popular marketplaces like Nykaa, Amazon, and Tira. The brand also engages with quick commerce platforms. Looking ahead, ClayCo intends to broaden its product range to include body care and hair care categories.
