Collegedunia Achieves Rs 200 Crore Revenue Milestone in 2024

Collegedunia, the college search platform, has successfully exceeded the Rs 200 crore revenue milestone in 2024. Guided by robust partnerships with educational institutions, this Gurugram-based company focuses on providing valuable resources and support to students.

Throughout its journey, Collegedunia has collaborated with notable institutions such as LPU, IILM, Amity, ICFAI, Parul, and Bennett University, granting students access to essential information and career guidance.

After surpassing the Rs 200 crore revenue benchmark, Collegedunia has set an ambitious goal to triple its revenue within the next five years. Chief Executive Sahil Chalana shared that the company is eyeing global expansion, stating that plans for going public will materialise upon reaching Rs 600 crore in revenue.

According to various sources from a startup data intelligence platform, Collegedunia recorded an operating revenue of Rs 192.23 crore in FY24. Furthermore, the company achieved profitability in FY24, nearing earnings of Rs 5 crore.

For those unfamiliar, Collegedunia is a bootstrapped startup established in 2014. The group also encompasses 3.14, KickCash, and Prepp, all of which provide services focused on growth within the ed-tech and digital marketing sectors. 3.14 operates as a performance-driven ad tech platform, assisting brands in optimising their marketing strategies through data-driven insights and currently boasts key clients such as Amazon, Flipkart, PhonePe, GoJek, and Walmart.

Prepp, a platform dedicated to aiding aspirants for government examinations in India, has seen remarkable growth. In the past year, Prepp has gained traction with students preparing for exams like UPSC, SSC, and several state-level assessments.

Meanwhile, KickCash is a user acquisition application that rewards users for engaging with mobile games. By harnessing AI to recommend games, it aims to enhance user participation. As the mobile gaming sector expands, KickCash is positioning itself as a pivotal player in the rewarded gaming landscape within India.

“To achieve the Rs 600 crore revenue target by 2029, the company is focusing on three critical areas: scaling operations, enhancing technology, and diversifying into new markets,” Chalana asserted.

While major cities have traditionally been the focal point, there is an increasing demand for structured educational guidance in smaller towns. Collegedunia is now looking to penetrate tier II and tier III markets by providing tailored content and services.

Additionally, the company is dedicated to assisting international students in navigating college admissions and career opportunities worldwide. Launched in 2021, Collegedunia’s Study Abroad vertical has grown by over 120% year-on-year. Initially concentrated on prominent destinations like the USA, UK, and Canada, it has now expanded to include more European countries. In 2024–25, it unveiled new centres in Hyderabad, Delhi, Thane, Srinagar, and Kolkata, with more to follow.

According to company representatives, Collegedunia is broadening its offerings beyond college searches to encompass career advice, skill development, and international education assistance.
