In-app communication platform CometChat has successfully raised $6.5 million (Rs 60 crore) in a recent funding round, backed by existing investor Run Ventures. With this latest funding, the total amount raised by the company has reached $21.1 million, including previous rounds. This follows a substantial $10 million Series A funding and is aimed at supporting the company’s ambitious AI roadmap, while also steering the core business towards profitability.
