CRED Enhances Kuvera Wealth Management Platform

CRED has made significant strides in wealth management by upgrading its Kuvera platform, enabling affluent investors to make informed and disciplined investment decisions. The upgraded Kuvera platform prioritises long-term wealth creation and promotes improved user behaviour in critical areas like discipline, asset allocation, and performance tracking. The recent enhancements aim to cater to investors with substantial portfolios, as even one decision can greatly influence long-term compounding.

Acquisition and Investor Insights

CRED officially acquired Kuvera in February 2024, marking its foray into the wealth management sector. The company notes that Kuvera users display a higher level of investment maturity, with average monthly SIPs at twice the industry average and boasting some of the highest portfolio values within digital platforms. Despite this, nearly 80% of mutual funds have underperformed their benchmarks over the past five years, indicating the need for enhanced decision-making tools.

Behavioural Framework for Better Decisions

The updated platform incorporates a behavioural framework that evaluates investors based on three key parameters: discipline, allocation, and performance. This framework assists users in recognising patterns, evaluating risk exposure, and benchmarking returns effectively.

Introducing Surplus for Liquidity

Kuvera has also introduced a new feature called Surplus, which enables users to invest idle cash into liquid funds managed by various asset management companies including ICICI Prudential AMC, HDFC AMC, and Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC. This feature ensures quick liquidity, allowing partial withdrawals to be processed within minutes.
