Kerala-based sports-tech startup Dartle has successfully secured $100,000 in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The funding will be allocated towards enhancing its go-to-market strategy, expanding its footprint in the US market, strengthening AI integrations, and increasing partner engagement.

Founded by Nihal Pradeep, Swathi Krishnan, and Nagaraj R Potti, Dartle operates a specialised B2B SaaS platform catered to youth sports and football academies. This innovative platform enables academies to efficiently manage operations, scheduling, player analytics, and parent engagement via a unified integrated system.

Current Market Presence

Dartle currently supports 14 academies situated in India, the Middle East, Nepal, and the US, and is conducting eight paid pilot programmes in the American market. Recently, the startup secured a $60,000 sponsorship from MLS Next and successfully increased its average contract value from $15,000 to $33,000.

Benefits of Dartle’s Platform

Dartle asserts that its platform can diminish administrative tasks by as much as 75%, while also aiding academies in boosting athlete retention through effective data-driven engagement and performance tracking tools.

Future Goals

The startup intends to onboard over 100 sports academies globally in the coming year and aims for an annual recurring revenue (ARR) close to $1 million. Dartle is supported by the startup accelerator Upekkha and has gained accolades from NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore.
