Deccan AI Secures $25 Million in Series A Funding

Deccan AI, a startup that specialises in post-training data and evaluation, has successfully raised $25 million in a Series A funding round spearheaded by A91 Partners, with contributions from Susquehanna International Group (SIG) and Prosus Ventures. The funding will be utilised to broaden its enterprise-driven AI offerings and enhance its platform capabilities for implementing and assessing AI systems.

Evolution of Deccan AI

Founded by Rukesh Reddy, Deccan AI originally concentrated on data and model training for advanced AI laboratories. The company has since diversified its focus to include enterprise solutions. Deccan AI now provides tools that assist businesses in deploying, monitoring, and optimising AI systems in practical settings.

Product Offerings

The firm’s product line features an evaluation platform designed to assess model performance and an enterprise system aimed at automating back-office and middle-office workflows through AI agents. Deccan AI is particularly targeting large enterprises, including Fortune 500 companies.

Clientele and Market Presence

Among its clientele are noted industry leaders such as Google DeepMind and Snowflake. The company has successfully engaged approximately 10 clients and actively manages a range of ongoing projects at any given time.

International Expansion

Deccan AI is also enhancing its foothold in India with a new office in Bengaluru that is dedicated to enterprise development, alongside its current operations in San Francisco and Hyderabad.
