The Medical Travel Company, established by Ankit Mehrotra and Sahil Jain, has successfully raised $4.5 million in a seed funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners. This funding round also witnessed participation from Kriscore Capital along with renowned international cricketers Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, and KL Rahul through their investment group 4CAST. Several angel investors, including Sriharsha Majety, Abhishek Goyal, Dr. Ritesh Malik, Manish Vij, Arjun Vaidya, the 1947 Rise Fund, and Peercheque, have also contributed.
Utilisation of the Funding
The funding will be directed towards scaling operations in India and the UK, enhancing digital management of patients, and bolstering clinical partnerships. In the next three to four years, the Medical Travel Company plans to extend its services to additional regions including the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
