Dream Aerospace Secures Pre-Seed Funding for Satellite Propulsion Innovations

Aerospace and defence startup Dream Aerospace has successfully raised Rs 3 crore in a pre-seed funding round spearheaded by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).

The newly acquired funds will be utilised for:

Founded in 2022 by Hari Krishnan KJ and Rogith S, Dream Aerospace’s mission is to empower satellite propulsion systems by providing high-performance, cost-effective, and scalable solutions tailored to meet various mission requirements. The company harnesses indigenous technology, aligning itself with India’s “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiatives, which positions it as a preferred partner for both commercial and military applications.

Innovative Thruster Development

Based in Chennai, Dream Aerospace focuses on creating customizable, economical, and agile thrusters designed to enhance satellite operations and space missions. The company places a strong emphasis on safety by improving fuel handling processes for ground personnel. Furthermore, it addresses the pressing need for environmentally sustainable and efficient propulsion systems, paving the way for a greener future in aerospace technology.

Dream Aerospace asserts that it provides superior propulsion performance at a considerably reduced cost compared to global alternatives. While currently outsourcing production to meet initial market demands, the company intends to establish in-house production facilities with an annual output capacity of 40 to 50 thrusters, ensuring both scalability and efficiency.
