Exfinity Venture Partners Announces Strategic Partial Exit from CloudSEK
Exfinity Venture Partners, known for its investments in deep-tech and B2B technology, has disclosed a partial exit from its stake in the cybersecurity platform CloudSEK. This exit has yielded a significant 13x multiple on invested capital (MOIC) and an internal rate of return (IRR) exceeding 40%. The transaction was executed as a secondary sale to existing investors, and Exfinity still maintains a substantial ownership share in the company.

As the inaugural institutional investor in CloudSEK, Exfinity provided support during the company’s pre-Series A funding round, aligning with its vision of developing a predictive and intelligence-driven cybersecurity platform. Since that time, CloudSEK has transformed into a full-scale AI-based threat intelligence platform that assists businesses in proactively identifying and mitigating cyber threats across various domains such as digital risk, attack surfaces, and supply chain layers.
CloudSEK’s Growth Trajectory
Recently, CloudSEK has surpassed $15 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and demonstrates consistent year-on-year growth, with over 60% of its new revenue originating from international markets. The United States has emerged as the company’s fastest-growing area. Its clientele spans various sectors, including banking, telecommunications, aviation, and digital platforms, indicating a robust product-market fit in complex and expansive environments.
Recent Funding Milestones
In early 2025, CloudSEK successfully raised over $20 million in its Series B funding rounds, with contributions from notable global investors, including Commvault and Connecticut Innovations Fund.
