Fixxly Raises $5.5 Million in Funding for Building Materials Quick Commerce

Bengaluru-based building materials quick commerce startup Fixxly has successfully raised $5.5 million in its seed funding round, backed by Accel, Fireside Ventures, and Lightspeed India Partners. This new funding is aimed at enhancing the technology platform and scaling operations in preparation for the upcoming commercial launch on September 1. Initially, Fixxly will operate in Bengaluru before extending its reach to additional cities.

The Vision Behind Fixxly

Founded in 2026 by Shezan Bhojani and Sachith Varma, Fixxly is developing an AI-driven quick commerce platform specifically for building materials. This innovative platform allows contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, interior designers, and homeowners to conveniently order a variety of products, including plywood, paint, electrical supplies, lighting, hardware, and plumbing essentials, with deliveries promised in as little as 30 minutes.

How Fixxly Operates

Fixxly employs an AI-powered supply network that efficiently fulfills orders through a collection of local dark stores. This system is designed to match real-time inventory, proximity, and market demand effectively.

Founders’ Background

Prior to launching Fixxly, Bhojani co-founded the home interiors startup DesignCafe, which successfully merged with HomeLane in 2024. His co-founder, Sachith Varma, has notable experience leading supply chain design at Zepto and overseeing last-mile operations at Flipkart.
