Flam Secures $14 Million for Mixed Reality Expansion

Flam, a mixed reality startup, has successfully raised $14 million (approximately Rs 119 crore) in its Series A funding round, led by RTP Global, alongside contributions from Dovetail and its existing investors. This follows an earlier achievement in May 2024, when Flam raised $4.5 million in a pre-Series A round from Turbostart, Twin Ventures, and others.

The latest capital infusion is earmarked for scaling operations within the US market, while also preserving its foothold in India, where the company initiated monetization a year ago. Flam asserts that it currently commands a 45% market share in the US.

About Flam and Its Offerings

Founded in 2021 by Shourya Agarwal, Malhar Patil, and Rajat Gupta, Flam specialises in providing mixed reality brand experiences through various digital channels, including social media links, websites, and QR codes. This innovative approach allows brands to engage their audiences effectively.

Clientele and Partnerships

The company boasts an impressive roster of over 100 major tech and e-commerce clients, including prominent names like Google, Samsung, LG, Flipkart, Britannia, Netflix, AJIO, Wargaming, and WPP.

Innovations in Mixed Reality

Since the start of this year, Flam has been intensifying its research and development efforts on app-less Generative AI infrastructure, which enables brands to create, launch, and monitor high-fidelity mixed reality (MR), 3D, and digital experiences in under 300 milliseconds on any smartphone.
