Gaurav Jain, the Chief Business Officer at ShareChat, has stepped down, as revealed by the founder and CEO, Ankush Sachdeva, in a message on the company’s Slack channel. Sachdeva noted that Jain has significantly influenced the development of the Ad Sales and B2B Marketing teams. His consistent management and strategic insight have been invaluable in guiding the company through challenging times and facilitating advancement.

Details of Jain’s Departure

According to the internal memo, Jain will remain with ShareChat until July to guarantee an orderly transition. He became part of ShareChat in October 2022. Before his tenure at ShareChat, he held the position of Head of APAC Business Expansion at Snap for under a year and was the Head of Mid-Market Business for Meta India for over three years.

New Leadership During Transition

In the meantime, ShareChat has appointed Manohar Charan to lead the business during this transition period. Charan, who serves as the Chief Financial Officer of ShareChat, has recently been promoted to the role of Co-founder within the Bengaluru-based firm.
