Holiday Tribe Secures Rs 25 Crore for Travel Innovations
Holiday Tribe, a travel-tech firm specialising in leisure holidays, has successfully raised Rs 25 crore (approximately $2.85 million) in its pre-Series A funding round. This round was led by existing investors Powerhouse Ventures and GSF, alongside additional angel investors.
The funding comprises both equity and debt, and follows the seed funding of Rs 5.4 crore raised in September 2024. The company asserts that it has experienced more than threefold growth since that seed funding.
Investment Utilisation
The newly acquired funds will be directed towards expanding Holiday Tribe’s AI infrastructure, enhancing supplier networks, and upgrading its mobile and desktop platforms. The aim is to improve real-time personalisation, itinerary optimisation, and customer support. Additionally, the company intends to expand its network of hotels and activities, providing travellers with more tailored experiences.
Holiday Tribe’s Offerings
Co-founded by Anshu Sharma and Chirag Goyal, Holiday Tribe has curated holiday packages for over 30 international destinations. Its expansive supply network encompasses more than 100,000 hotels and 1 million activities across the globe. The startup has also established partnerships with tourism boards in popular locations such as Abu Dhabi, Mauritius, Dubai, Switzerland, and Singapore.
Future Ambitions
Holiday Tribe is aiming for an annualised GMV of Rs 500 crore within the next 18–24 months, with a focus on delivering personalised, hassle-free holiday experiences for Indian travellers.
