KnotDating: AI-Powered Matchmaking Platform for Professionals

KnotDating: AI-Powered Matchmaking Platform for Professionals

KnotDating is an innovative matchmaking platform that has evolved from the pseudonymous social networking service Hood. This new AI-driven platform specifically serves professionals in search of meaningful relationships. By leveraging behavioral insights along with human-assisted matchmaking, KnotDating aims to improve compatibility and nurture real connections.

Currently, KnotDating operates on an exclusive invite-only basis, with intentions to broaden access and allow public registration in the near future.

The Evolution from Hood to KnotDating

Over the years, Hood has dedicated itself to fostering genuine conversations within the digital landscape. Notably, based on user feedback accompanied by observed market trends, the team discovered a more significant opportunity to assist individuals in establishing profound and enduring relationships.

What Sets KnotDating Apart?

While traditional matrimonial platforms mainly depend on filters and user preferences, KnotDating takes a different approach. The platform employs conversational AI to delve into authentic human behaviour and communication. As Jasveer Singh, co-founder and CEO of KnotDating, pointed out, the goal is not merely to create another matrimonial app; rather, the aim is to develop a space where compatibility flourishes through meaningful conversations. The focus remains on working professionals who are earnest in their quest for a partner, individuals keen on guiding their own journey prior to involving their families.

Funding and Development

Before its transformation, Hood, initially known as Zorro, successfully secured around $3.2 million in funding from various investors such as 3one4 Capital, 9Unicorn Ventures, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Ritesh Agarwal, Ashish Hemrajani, Kunal Shah, and Ashneer Grover.

Founded by Jasveer Singh and Abhishek Asthana, who is also famously recognized online as Gabbbar Singh, Hood offered a space for users to share their thoughts and feelings anonymously.
