Indian Walker Secures Pre-Seed Funding for Expansion

Indian Walker, a streetwear brand focused on carry products, has successfully completed a pre-seed funding round with Palette Wealth Management (PWM), securing an undisclosed sum at a post-money valuation of Rs 20 crore. The brand operates under CoFounder Circle (CFC) Venture Studio, which is led by entrepreneur Darpan Sanghvi. This marks Indian Walker’s initial venture into institutional funding.

The newly acquired capital will assist in enhancing inventory, growing existing categories, and introducing additional SKUs to its Level Up collection. According to a press release from Indian Walker, the funds will drive the brand’s expansion efforts.

Founded last year by Md. Sakib, Indian Walker is based in Delhi and produces backpacks and various carry products tailored for everyday commuting. The range is positioned within the mid-premium pricing segment, attracting consumers looking for quality and style.

Growth Plans and Targets

Indian Walker is set on expanding its core team in marketing, social media, and operations. The brand has an ambitious target of achieving Rs 100 crore in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) within the next 24 months, alongside a customer base exceeding 1 lakh.

The core backpacks range from Rs 2,000 to Rs 4,000, with the Level Up collection, featuring the Stride backpack, having sold over 10,000 units since its launch.

Sales Channels and Future Endeavours

Currently, Indian Walker operates through its direct-to-consumer (D2C) website but is planning to extend its reach by launching on platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra in the upcoming quarter. The brand also intends to explore quick commerce and other marketplace channels.

The Competitive Landscape

The Indian streetwear and contemporary fashion market features various notable brands, including Bluorng, Huemn, Six5Six, Almost Gods, Gully Labs, The Souled Store, and Freakins, among others.

Recent Funding Activity in the Sector

In related news, Snitch raised approximately Rs 340 crore ($40 million) last year in a round managed by 360 ONE Asset. Additionally, Gully Labs secured Rs 30 crore in a Series A round in January 2026, led by Saama Capital with backing from Zeropearl VC. Furthermore, the D2C denim brand Freakins previously garnered $4 million from investors, including Matrix Partners India and Blume Ventures.
