LetzRyd Enhances Urban Mobility Solutions with $4 Million Funding
LetzRyd, a mobility fleet platform dedicated to creating scalable and inclusive urban transport infrastructure, has successfully secured $4 million in a Series A funding round. This round was led by JIF Capital, with contributions from Japan-based venture capital firm 15th Rock, marking its initial investment in India, alongside existing investor UNLEASH Capital Partners.
The Bengaluru-based startup had earlier raised $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round from UNLEASH Capital Partners. The funding will be channelled into strengthening its fleet network, scaling its operating platform, and advancing technology-led fleet and driver lifecycle management, as stated by LetzRyd in a press release.
Co-Founders and Vision
LetzRyd was co-founded in 2023 by Tarun Jain, Kushagra Dokania, and Sarvagna G. The platform develops fleet solutions for ride-hailing services through operating lease and fleet deployment models. By integrating financial models, operational efficiency, and technology-led monitoring, LetzRyd aims to enhance vehicle utilisation, service uptime, and overall service quality.
Empowering Driver Ownership
LetzRyd supplies vehicles and drivers to ride-hailing platforms while also facilitating driver ownership through innovative leasing models. During its initial year of operations, LetzRyd reports an increase in driver earnings by 20 to 22 percent, alongside a significant reduction in attrition rates, well below industry averages.
