K12 Techno Services, an education services provider managing the Orchids International school chain, has granted more than Rs 190 crore (approximately $20 million) in new employee stock options as part of its ESOP Scheme 2026. The board of K12 Techno Services approved a special resolution to issue 6,16,902 ESOPs, each with an exercise price of Rs 3,122.68, resulting in a total ESOP grant value of nearly Rs 193 crore or $20.1 million.

As per the company’s latest filing, the newly issued options are estimated to be worth about Rs 193 crore, while the overall ESOP pool currently stands at roughly Rs 838 crore or $88 million.

Recent Investments in K12 Techno Services

In July 2026, Vitruvian Partners acquired nearly a 16% stake in K12 Techno Services for approximately Rs 1,159 crore. This transaction encompassed both fresh investments in the company and the purchase of shares from existing investors, which also included Peak XV Partners. This deal valued K12 Techno Services at around Rs 7,100-7,250 crore.

This transaction also indicated a partial exit for Peak XV Partners, who had previously invested in K12 Techno. Other notable investors in the company are Kedaara Capital, Navneet Learning, Sofina Ventures, Kenro Capital, and Venturi Partners.

K12 Techno Services Overview

K12 Techno Services, established in 2010 and based in Bengaluru, is an education services company that delivers academic, technological, and administrative solutions to educational institutions. Its principal offering is Orchids The International School, alongside other educational and school partnership initiatives. Currently, the company collaborates with over 900 schools throughout India, as mentioned on its official website.

Financial Performance of K12 Techno Services

Regarding its financial performance, K12 Techno Services reported operational income of Rs 523.1 crore for FY26, a significant increase from Rs 391.9 crore in FY25. Additionally, the company has succeeded in reducing its losses sharply, with losses narrowing to Rs 24.9 crore in FY26, compared to Rs 57.7 crore in FY25.
