Yatra Online Leadership Transition: New CEO Siddhartha Gupta Takes Charge

Yatra Online has revealed a significant leadership transition with co-founder Dhruv Shringi stepping down as Chief Executive Officer. In a recent filing with the stock exchange, the company indicated that Siddhartha Gupta will step into the role of CEO, effective November 25. Shringi, who has guided Yatra since its establishment, will assume the position of Executive Chairman. In this capacity, he will collaborate with the board and senior management on strategic direction, expansion efforts, and governance.

Siddhartha Gupta’s Background and Vision

Gupta comes to Yatra with over 25 years of rich experience in enterprise technology and B2B SaaS, having held positions at SAP, HP, and various SaaS companies. He will be responsible for overseeing business operations, pushing growth initiatives, and managing the company’s travel services portfolio. Gupta expressed his commitment to fostering growth, enhancing the technology and service offerings, and providing increased value to customers.

Yatra’s Recent Performance Highlights

In the past year, Yatra has successfully added 148 new corporate clients, projecting an annual potential business of more than Rs 700 crore, as stated in the company’s filing. For the quarter that concluded in September 2025 (Q2 FY26), Yatra documented a remarkable 48% increase in revenue from operations, amounting to Rs 350.8 crore. Additionally, the profit for the quarter rose to Rs 14.27 crore. For the first half of FY26, revenue climbed to Rs 560.6 crore, and the profit surged to roughly Rs 30.27 crore.
