LightSpeed Photonics Raises $6.5 Million in Pre-Series A Funding
LightSpeed Photonics has successfully secured $6.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round, spearheaded by pi Ventures, and supported by investors such as 500 Global, Indian Accelerator, 8X Ventures, Java Capital, and Bay Area angels. To date, the company has raised a total of $8.5 million, inclusive of various grants. This funding will enable the company to establish a research and development facility aimed at reducing pilot turnaround times.
Strengthening Partnerships and Commercialisation
As it progresses towards the commercialisation of its optical interconnect product range for data centre infrastructure, LightSpeed aims to strengthen its collaborations with OEM, EMS, and ODM partners.
