NPrep: AI-Powered Skilling Platform for Nursing Students
NPrep, a company dedicated to placements, is developing an AI-powered skilling platform specifically for nursing students and professionals. The startup has successfully secured $1.5 million in a seed funding round, with Lumikai leading this investment. The funding round also featured contributions from existing investor All In Capital, as well as Velo Partners, DSP Group Family Office, and angel investors such as Viren Shetty.
Previous Funding and Expansion Plans
Based in Jodhpur, NPrep had earlier obtained an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed funding round, also spearheaded by All In Capital, with support from IIMA Ventures, Chegg founder Aayush Phumbhra, and various family offices along with angel investors.
The newly acquired funds will enhance NPrep’s AI-focused learning platform, broaden the range of exam-specific content, and extend its reach to more nursing aspirants throughout India who are preparing for both government and international healthcare roles, as stated by NPrep in a press release.
Co-founders and Objectives
Founded in 2024 by Prince Kaushik, Utkarsh Paliwal, Gourav, and Shrey Gupta, NPrep seeks to tackle the challenges faced by students from tier II and tier III cities. The startup offers a tailored AI-powered skilling and placement platform catering to the unique requirements of nursing students and professionals.
Addressing Gaps in Nursing Education
NPrep claims to bridge the existing gap in nursing education by providing over 1,400 hours of original video content aligned with exam requirements, in addition to personalised study plans. The platform features an AI mentor, curated questions based on historical exam data, and mechanisms for individual performance tracking, all aimed at enhancing exam success and aiding candidates in securing government positions and international roles.
User Engagement and Platform Features
In just 10 months, more than 100,000 nurses in India are already benefiting from NPrep’s platform, which has seen over 6 million minutes of video content viewed and 31 million questions answered. The startup’s platform customises 1,400 hours of video content into personalised adaptive learning plans, complemented by AI-driven support for nursing students and professionals.
