Honasa Consumer Limited: Anuja Mishra Resigns as CMO
Honasa Consumer Limited, the company behind Mamaearth, has confirmed the resignation of Anuja Mishra from her role as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective from the end of business on June 30, 2025, due to personal matters.
Interim CMO Arrangement
As disclosed in the circular filed by Honasa Consumer, Varun Alagh, the CEO and whole-time director of the organization, will take on the responsibilities of interim CMO in the interim.
Anuja Mishra’s Tenure
Mishra joined the Honasa team as CMO in March 2022, where she played a vital role in shaping the marketing strategies for several consumer brands, including Mamaearth, Bblunt, and The Derma Co.
A screenshot of an email included in the circular indicated that Mishra stated her resignation was due to personal reasons, effective from the end of business hours on June 30, 2025.
Company Activities and Growth
This week, Honasa Consumer also expanded its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) pool by introducing 2,461,350 ESOP options valued at Rs 57 crore, as per a separate disclosure.
In Q3 FY25, the company reported a revenue increase of 5.9%, amounting to Rs 517 crore, relative to Rs 488 crore during the same quarter in FY24. Nonetheless, profits remained unchanged at Rs 26 crore during this period.
Market Performance
Honasa Consumer Limited concluded Friday’s trading day at Rs 233 per share, achieving a total market capitalisation of Rs 7,578 crore, which is approximately $890 million.
