Mamaearth Parent Company Reports Q1 FY26 Financial Growth
Honasa Consumer Limited, which oversees the well-known personal care brand Mamaearth, has revealed its financial outcomes for the first quarter of the fiscal year (Q1 FY26) on Wednesday. Based in Gurugram, the company noted a 7% scale growth, and its year-on-year (YoY) profits saw an increase of 2.7% in the same timeframe.
Revenue Growth of Mamaearth
Mamaearth’s operational revenue increased by 7.4% YoY, reaching Rs 595 crore in Q1 FY26, up from Rs 554 crore during Q1 FY25, as per the financial statements accessed from the National Stock Exchange (NSE). On a quarter-on-quarter basis, Mamaearth’s operating revenue rose by 12% to Rs 595 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 533 crore in Q4 FY25.
Overall Revenue Totals
The company did not provide a revenue breakdown for the last quarter. Additionally, it accrued Rs 24 crore from non-operating activities, bringing its total revenue to Rs 619 crore in Q1 FY26.
Expenditure Insights
For this direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand, the procurement costs for products accounted for 30% of the entire expenditure, rising by 9% to Rs 171 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 157 crore in Q1 FY25. Expenditures related to employee benefits, marketing, legal, rent, and other overheads contributed to an 8% YoY increase in total costs, which reached Rs 563 crore in Q1 FY26, up from Rs 520 crore in Q1 FY25.
Profit After Tax Figures
Ultimately, the company reported a profit after tax of Rs 41.3 crore in Q1 FY26, which is a 5% rise from Rs 40.2 crore recorded in Q1 FY25. On a unit basis, the expenditure was Re 0.95 to generate a Rupee of operating revenue, with an EBITDA of Rs 55 in Q1 FY26.
Shares of Mamaearth’s parent company were trading at Rs 271 at 15:52 PM, with a total market capitalization of Rs 8,812 crore, equivalent to $1 billion.
