Mave Health Raises $2.1 Million for Innovative Neurotechnology

Neurotechnology startup Mave Health has successfully secured $2.1 million (around Rs 18 crore) in a seed funding round led by Blume Ventures. Other contributors include Inuka Capital, Stanford Angels, the founders of Groww, Raymond Russell, Aureolis Ventures, Juhi Bhatnagar, and existing investor All In Capital. This new funding follows a previous $750K pre-seed round achieved in November 2023.

Utilisation of Funds for Launch and Manufacturing

As stated in a recent press release, the newly acquired funds will be directed towards launching its wearable headset in both the United States and India, alongside enhancing manufacturing capabilities.

About Mave Health’s Wearable Headset

Established in 2023 by Dhawal Jain, Jai Sharma, and Aman Kumar, Mave Health is dedicated to creating non-invasive wearable headsets aimed at improving focus, mood, and stress management. The device employs transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to stimulate the prefrontal cortex during 20-minute daily sessions. Weighing approximately 100g, the headset provides low-intensity electrical stimulation targeting areas of the brain linked to attention and emotional regulation. It is designed for integration into daily activities and can operate for up to a month on a single charge with standard use.

Companion App Features

Mave’s companion app allows users to log their sessions, tailor protocols, and monitor progress without gathering any brain data. Typically, users observe noticeable enhancements within 15 to 20 days, with benefits increasing over time.

Availability and Market Response

The device is presently available for pre-order in both the US and India, with shipments expected to commence in April 2026. Mave Health has experienced strong initial demand, with three limited batches selling out in just 36 hours. Its launch video has received over a million impressions on social media, attracting attention from leading global technology figures and athletes, including UFC fighter Max Griffin.

Beta Testing and User Feedback

Mave entered the market with over 500 beta users ahead of its public launch last month. According to self-reported data collected after four weeks of usage, 80% of users indicated productivity enhancements exceeding 60%, 75% reported stress reductions above 50%, and users experienced an average mood improvement of 77%.
