MediBuddy Appoints Shalabh Shrivastava as Head of Operations

MediBuddy, a Bengaluru-based digital healthcare platform, has recently appointed Shalabh Shrivastava as the new Head of Operations. This significant move is designed to enhance the company’s operational capabilities, processes and technology-driven execution as MediBuddy expands its range of healthcare services.

Experience of Shalabh Shrivastava

Shrivastava arrives with a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years in sectors such as consumer technology, ecommerce, retail, and consulting. His most recent role involved leading product, design, and operations for Swiggy’s driver organisation. Prior to his tenure at Swiggy, he dedicated more than ten years to Flipkart, where he occupied leadership positions in first-mile, last-mile, and third-party logistics, eventually becoming VP and National Head of Large & Furniture Supply Chain.

Previous Roles

Before joining the ecommerce giant Flipkart, Shrivastava had valuable stints at Reliance Retail, Cognizant, and Ernst & Young. His broad expertise will be critical at MediBuddy as he embarks on developing operating systems, automation, and processes throughout the company’s expansive healthcare network.

Strategic Growth and Company Performance

Shrivastava’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as MediBuddy seeks to scale its services for enterprises, insurers and consumers alike. The company recently announced its first EBITDA-positive quarter in Q4 FY26, boasting an impressive annual revenue run rate exceeding Rs 1,500 crore. Additionally, online consultations have surged by over 90% year-on-year during this quarter.

Healthcare Network

MediBuddy currently serves more than 37 million individuals and collaborates with 1,200 corporate entities. The platform has built an extensive network that includes over 140,000 doctors, 7,500 hospitals and clinics, 7,700 diagnostic centres, and more than 10,000 pharmacies, positioning it as a leader in digital healthcare solutions.
