Mintoak, a leading merchant SaaS platform that supports merchant applications for major banks and acquirers in India, the Middle East, and Africa, has successfully acquired Digiledge. This fintech company is known for its expertise in bill payments and Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) solutions. With this strategic acquisition, Mintoak will enhance its platform by integrating bill payment services and CBDC functionalities, allowing it to deliver more comprehensive digital solutions tailored for SMEs.
This move aims to boost merchant engagement, retention, and monetisation opportunities for banks and financial institutions. According to Mintoak’s official announcement, the capabilities offered by Digiledge will equip partner banks to create a more integrated financial ecosystem for their SME clients.
Founded in 2017 by Raman Khanduja, Rama Tadepalli, Kabeer Jain, Sanjay Nazareth, and Rohit Ramana, Mintoak is a modular, cloud-native, API-first payments platform based in Mumbai. The platform is dedicated to digitally empowering the merchant ecosystem through efficient digital payments and various financial services.
