NeoGeo Raises $20 Million for Geospatial Technology Expansion

Geospatial technology company NeoGeo has successfully raised $20 million in its Series A funding round, which was led by the Neev II Fund along with Aavishkaar Capital, the investment division of Aavishkaar Group. The firm announced that this funding will be allocated to enhance its platform and product offerings through research and development, strengthen its technical capabilities, venture into international markets in the Middle East and Americas, and bolster its workforce to manage an expanding project pipeline.

Recent market analysis indicates that India’s geospatial industry was valued at Rs 45,000 crore ($5.1 billion) in 2023, with projections suggesting a growth rate exceeding 15% CAGR from 2025 to 2030.

Established in 2019 by Sreeramam GV, NeoGeo operates as a comprehensive geospatial technology system integrator, providing GIS-referenced platforms and solutions that cater to urban governance, infrastructure and utilities, as well as natural resource management. To date, the company has successfully completed over 200 projects, mapped more than 5 lakh square kilometres, and manages upwards of 550 CORS stations. Furthermore, it runs AI and machine learning-driven analytics platforms that assist government bodies and enterprises in transforming spatial data into actionable intelligence.

Comprehensive Geospatial Solutions

According to NeoGeo, the company plays a vital role in the entire geospatial value chain. This encompasses data acquisition through satellite imagery, LiDAR, drones, and ground surveys, as well as data processing and AI/ML-based analytics, plus specialised software platforms. Its proprietary products include OptiFleet, GeoBalance, UrbanVista, and InfraSync.

Applications and Impact

NeoGeo asserts that its solutions are designed for spatial planning and resource efficiency while contributing to climate adaptation and resilience through hazard and vulnerability mapping.

Active Landscape of the Indian Geospatial Sector

The Indian geospatial industry features various startups such as SatSure, Pixxel, GalaxEye, SkyServe, and Heliware, all of which are making strides in Earth observation, hyperspectral imaging, spatial intelligence, and analytics based on location.

Additionally, Heliware, based in Gurugram, secured Rs 4.5 crore in a bridge funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures as of February 2026. Meanwhile, SatSure received a grant of Rs 24.6 crore from IN-SPACe in June 2026 aimed at developing AI-driven Earth observation frameworks and a national geospatial intelligence structure. Furthermore, TakeMe2Space, based in Hyderabad, raised $5 million in January 2026 to enhance its satellite network and real-time, in-orbit AI capabilities.
