Neulife Secures Funding to Enhance Performance Nutrition
Neulife, a performance nutrition company based in Mumbai, has successfully raised $1 million in seed funding, co-led by Subhkam Ventures and Singularity Ventures. The funding also saw participation from Sunicon Ventures, Cosma Ventures, and selected high-net-worth individuals. This marks the company’s first external funding round since its inception. The funds will be allocated towards new product development, expanding clinical research and trials, alongside scaling the protein product range. Additionally, Neulife intends to utilize a portion of the capital to facilitate its global expansion and enhance its R&D capabilities.
Founded in 2014 by Samit Gupta, Neulife operates as a performance nutrition brand focused on research and development. In 2022, the company launched its direct-to-consumer (D2C) business, concentrating on the creation of scientifically validated, metabolically efficient proteins using its proprietary Ketofuel MCT technology.
Neulife’s flagship products consist of Pro Standard Whey, introduced in 2023, and Super Isolate, set to launch in 2024. These products aim to provide over a 30% increase in protein absorption and efficiency when compared to traditional whey or plant proteins. The R&D division of Neulife has filed a total of five patents, with two already granted and three under review.
Neulife has set its sights on acquiring approximately 15% market share in India’s premium protein segment by 2028. The company is also planning to raise an additional $3 million by the end of 2026 to underpin expansion and support new product initiatives. Neulife’s offerings are available on its website and through primary online marketplaces, catering to professional athletes and fitness enthusiasts searching for scientifically backed performance nutrition.
