Nykaa Now Expands with New Leadership

Nykaa Now is set to enhance its operations in quick commerce as it appoints Ankit Jain, the former Chief Operating Officer of Instamart, to lead this initiative. The company’s efforts to grow its presence in the quick delivery market are emphasised by this strategic move.

Ankit Jain’s Background

Jain’s transition to Nykaa is recent, occurring just weeks after his departure from Instamart, a company owned by Swiggy, where he played a pivotal role as COO. His exit was part of a broader leadership restructure at the quick commerce platform.

Experience in Operations and Logistics

With over twenty years of cumulative experience in supply chain management, logistics, and operations, Jain is well-prepared for his new role. Before his tenure at Instamart, he held significant leadership positions at both Flipkart and Unilever.

Focus on Nykaa Now

As the leader of Nykaa Now, Jain will be responsible for expanding this quick commerce vertical, which focuses on delivering beauty and personal care products within a condensed time frame of 30 to 60 minutes. His duties will include overseeing the growth of the business, streamlining supply chain operations, enhancing fulfilment infrastructure, and improving technology-driven logistics.

Current Operations of Nykaa Now

Currently, Nykaa Now operates in thirteen cities across India, including major hubs like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. The service offers a diverse selection of products encompassing beauty, personal care, and wellness categories.

Nykaa’s Retail Expansion

As of June 30, Nykaa manages a total of 324 offline retail stores across various formats. Additionally, the company continues to diversify its brand portfolio, featuring owned brands such as Kay Beauty, Nykaa Cosmetics, and Dot & Key.
