Peeko Raises Rs 67.4 Crore for Babycare Quick Commerce
Peeko, a quick commerce platform specialising in babycare essentials, has announced that it has raised Rs 67.4 crore (over $7 million) in a Series A funding round. This round was led by Chiratae Ventures, with contributions from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners as well as various angel investors.
Prior to this funding achievement, the Bengaluru-based company secured $3.2 million in an earlier round led by Stellaris Venture Partners, with investments from angel investors like Maninder Gulati and V3 Ventures co-founder Arjun Vaidya, among others, in August of last year. The firm plans to utilise these funds for technological investments aimed at enhancing its “parenting partner” proposition, in conjunction with its commerce operations, as stated in a recent press release.
Founded in the previous year by Chetan Sharma, Abhijit Gairola, and Vivek Khetan, Peeko focuses on providing an extensive range of baby and children’s care essentials through its vertical quick commerce platform. The platform features a diverse assortment of products, including apparel, diapers, toys, and baby food, along with flexible try-and-buy and instant return options.
Peeko reports impressive growth, having nearly doubled its performance every quarter over the last six months. Since its inception, more than one lakh parents have engaged with the platform. Currently, the startup operates three dark stores in Bengaluru, covering approximately 55% of the city’s area, with plans to expand to a total of six stores by the end of 2026 before venturing into two additional cities next year.
According to Peeko, its product lineup has expanded from around 6,000 SKUs at launch to between 27,000 and 30,000 SKUs across categories like apparel and accessories, toys and learning aids, baby gear, and consumables. The average order value is approximately Rs 1,000, with a notable segment of its business comprising apparel, toys, and baby gear.
