Practo’s New Leadership Structure for Enhanced Growth
Practo, a healthcare platform, has revealed a revised leadership structure as it embarks on its next growth chapter. Shashank ND Singh, the founder, has been promoted to Managing Director and Executive Chairman, while Jagnoor Singh, the former Chief Operating Officer, will take on the role of Chief Executive Officer starting September 1, 2026.
Shashank’s Role as Executive Chairman
In his position as Executive Chairman, Shashank will continue guiding Practo’s overall strategy, vision, and product development. His focus will also include long-term innovation, capital strategy, as well as inorganic growth and corporate development.
Jagnoor Singh’s Journey to CEO
Jagnoor Singh began his journey with Practo as COO in January 2025, steering the company’s growth strategy and its expansion into new territories. Prior to joining Practo, he gained extensive experience in senior operational roles at Bharti Airtel, Unacademy, and OYO. As CEO, he will be responsible for overseeing Practo’s overall strategy, growth initiatives, and operations on a global scale.
Expanded Roles for Leaders
Practo has also elevated the responsibilities of several veteran leaders within the organisation. Siddhartha Nihalani, a co-founder, will now serve as COO-B2C, while Rowel Coelho, previously the Head of Monetization, has been appointed COO-B2B. Co-founder Abhinav Lal is taking on the role of Chief Scientist, where he will direct the company’s efforts in AI research and its partnerships within the healthcare sector.
Further Expansions and Growth Claims
These leadership changes coincide with Practo’s efforts to broaden its consumer platform into markets like the UAE and the United States. The company reports a 40% year-on-year growth and has maintained profitability for the last two and a half years. Practo currently connects users with over 700,000 doctors and healthcare providers worldwide, and manages its hospital management platform Insta across 1,200 facilities.
